Four specialties, one shop

From first-draft prototypes to parts that go straight to work — if it fits on the bed, we'll draft it.

Prototyping

Test the fit before you commit. Fast, affordable iterations so you can fail cheap and refine quick.

Engineering applications

Functional parts in tougher materials — brackets, jigs, fixtures, housings, and replacements built to spec.

typical: jigs & fixtures · enclosures · mounts

Crafts

Cake toppers, cosplay pieces, holiday decor, game accessories, gifts — the fun stuff, printed crisp.

typical: decor · figures · gifts · event pieces

Custom parts

That discontinued knob, clip, or bracket nobody sells anymore? Send a photo and dimensions — we'll draft it and print it.

typical: replacement parts · adapters · one-offs

Materials

Four workhorse thermoplastics that cover most jobs, from display models to parts that live outdoors year-round.

PLA

the everyday draft
strength
heat resist
outdoor use
detail finish

Best for: prototypes, crafts, display models, and anything indoors. Crisp detail, widest color range, easiest on the budget.

PETG

the tough all-rounder
strength
heat resist
outdoor use
detail finish

Best for: functional parts with a little flex — brackets, clips, containers, anything that shouldn't snap under stress.

ABS

the workhorse
strength
heat resist
outdoor use
detail finish

Best for: engineering parts that take heat and impact — housings, automotive interior pieces, parts you can sand and smooth.

ASA

the outdoor survivor
strength
heat resist
outdoor use
detail finish

Best for: anything living outside — UV-stable and weather-resistant, built to shrug off sun, rain, and humidity.

FAQ

What file formats can you print from?

STL, STEP, OBJ, and 3MF all work. If all you have is a sketch, a photo, or the broken original part with some caliper measurements, we can draft the model for you — that's the "Draft" in BayouDraft.

How accurate are the prints?

Typical FDM tolerance is around ±0.2 mm, and we dial in tighter for critical fits like threads, snap-fits, and press-fits. Tell us which dimensions matter and we'll prioritize them when setting up the job.

How fast is turnaround?

Quotes go out within 24 hours. Most single parts are printed and ready within a few days depending on size and the queue — rush jobs are usually possible, just ask.

Which material should I pick?

Quick version: PLA for looks and prototypes, PETG for tough everyday parts, ABS for heat and impact, ASA for anything that lives outdoors. Or just pick "help me choose" on the form and describe the job.

Do you ship, or is it pickup only?

Both. Free local pickup, or we'll ship anywhere in the U.S. at cost.

Can you print in a material you don't stock?

For special jobs (TPU flexibles, carbon-filled, wood-fill, etc.) we can usually order it in — it may add a few days and a small material minimum. Mention it in your quote request.
